Welcome to the blog!
It's my little corner of the web to share my favorite love stories, family adventures, and creative musings
Hey, loves! It’s been a bit quiet on this end of my site and I just wanted to say hello! I’ve been working on a ton of things behind the scenes and promise you’ll be seeing me much more very soon. I took a lot of time off to enjoy being with friends, family, and taking care of myself during the off season. Now wedding season is right around the corner and I couldn’t be more excited!
So leading up to that I wanted to start a mini series! I’m going to be giving you a little peek into my bag and all of the things I make sure to bring to a wedding. This is geared towards photographers, but if you’re a planner or even a bridesmaid, this particular post could be perfect for you, as well!
I LOVE being prepared because you never know what little events you’ll run into throughout the day. I always bring my “Wedding Emergency Kit” with me. I’ve used this SO many times and it’s super helpful when you’re in a time crunch and need to fix something fast! Most of the time, I don’t even need anything in this kit, but just having it with me is great!

Sewing Kit
I want to talk about the one thing that I use the most out of this kit; A mini sewing kit! If there’s anything that should be in your bag at all times, it’s this. It has seriously saved the day so many times! I’ve sewn buttons back onto Groomsmen’s shirts, used the pins to secure boutonnieres that have fallen apart, and have used the scissors to trim stray strings off of bride’s dresses. Literally the uses for this kit are endless! I got this specific one in the dollar section at Michael’s!
So whether you’re a veteran emergency kit maker or someone looking to put one together, I hope this gives you some fresh ideas! So run to your nearest Target (although you may come out with more than you went in for ;)) and pick up your necessities right now! Off season is the best time to prep for the Wedding Season that’s right around the corner!
What a great list for wedding photographers to bring to weddings. I am sure plenty of brides would be very thankful someone had any of these items on hand if needed!
Ahhh! I love this! Thanks so much for the ideas and I’m definitely going to be adding some of these to my bag for this season!
Beautiful post! I will make one of these for myself on my own wedding day.
