Well, hi!  I am so excited to say that I have officially launched my blog and website today!!  Ever since I attended Creative at Heart conference a few weeks ago, my heart has been overflowing with motivation and inspiration.    It’s already starting out to be a BIG year and I am so excited to see where it takes everyone.  If you’re reading this, I couldn’t be happier and I can’t wait to bring you along on some awesome adventures over the next couple of months!

   Since starting a blog is one of the biggest goals that I have set for myself this year, I thought I’d talk about my “Word of the Year”.  This year I’m choosing to be Intentional.  In the past, especially during busy times (like college!), I have had a habit of filling my schedule to the brim.  When you’re a student, have three jobs, and a full schedule, it’s easy to get burned out.  So this year I’m choosing to slow down and really focus on what I am doing and why I am doing it.  I think the best way to hold true to your goals is to put them in writing!  So here I am listing my goals for being Intentional this year.  I hope they not only push me and encourage me, but I hope they spark something in you, too, if you haven’t already set your goals 😉

• Friendships: To be more intentional in building up all of the friendships that I have now.  Whether that be through encouragement or catching up with coffee or lunch one day.  Also, to pursue meeting new people and networking a lot more.
• School:  Since this is my last semester (how crazy is that!?) I want to be more intentional with the work that I am producing.  Being a Photography major, I want my concepts to be meaningful, personal, and reflect who I am and who I have become over the last 5 years.
• Faith:  To be more intentional with setting time aside to spend with God.  He’s the reason I’m doing all of this & the reason I am where I am.  Intentional time set aside every day to be still, to read the word, or pursue being involved in the community at my church.
• Business:  This year has already shown how promising it is going to be.  I attended my first conference and in a couple of months I’ll be attending my first workshop with V.A. Photography!!  To be intentional in growing, strengthening, and pursuing my passion and dreams.

   I’d like to end with my motto that I strive to live every day and what I want my business and life to be about.  The biggest goal of the year for myself and my business is bringing glory to God.
